Police Blotter

All case information was provided by the Marion Police Department. All cases should be viewed as charges only.

•  Michael Laffoon, 25, of Herrin, was charged with possession of stolen property, criminal trespass to property and burglary to a place of worship on March 2 in the 5200 block of Meadowland Parkway.

•  Laura Coker, 56, of Herrin, was charged with domestic battery in the 1200 block of Scottsboro Street on March 1.

•  Dalton Wagner, 19, of Marion, was chared with aggravated battery with a firearm, unlawful use of a weapon and criminal trespass in the 1000 block of North Otis Street on March 3.

•  April Craig, 31, of Marion, was charged with domestic battery in the 1300 block of South Liberty Street on March 3.

•  Jonathon Fox, 32, of Marion, was charged with domestic battery in the 1300 block of South Liberty Street on March 3.

•  William Basenberg, Jr, 25, of Elkville, was charged with retail theft in the 2800 block of Outer Drive on March 1.

•  Jayvon Yarbrough, 23, of Herrin, was charged with driving while license suspended/revoked, resisting a police officer and aggravated battery in the area of North Russell and Main Streets on March 3.

•  Richey Brown, Jr., 40, of Marion, was charged with assault, criminal trespass to residence, resisting arrest and possession of a controlled substance in the 1400 block of North State Street on March 2.

•  Thomas Head, 61, of Marion, was charged with resisting a police officer and aggravated battery in the 1100 block of West Hendrickson Street on March 2.

•  Angela Childress, 27, of Marion, was charged with possession of methamphetamines, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and bringing contraband into a penal institution on March 3 in the area of Russell and Maplewood Streets.

•  Dustin Ledbetter, 26, of West Frankfort, was charged with speeding, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver and driving under the influence of alcohol in the area of DeYoung and North Carbon Streets on March 3.
