Obituary for Alec Ninker

Alec David Ninker, 18, of Steeleville, Illinois, passed away 2:27 p.m., Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Cardinal Glennon Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born to Scott Ninker and Gina Marie Reinhold on August 14, 1996 in Chester, Illinois.

He had worked at Svanda Chevrolet in Sparta, Illinois and during high school he worked at Dairy Queen in Sparta, Illinois.

Alec was of the Christian Faith. He was a member of Evansville Columbian Squires. He was a 2014 Graduate of Sparta High School. During high school, he was a member of yearbook staff, foods club, basketball his freshman year, and golf team all 4 years.

He had attended grade school at Evansville Attendance Center and played baseball, basketball and track.

He was an avid Dirt Bike Rider and Super Cross Fan and was sponsored by Big St. Charles Motor Sports. He was enrolled to attend Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Orlando, Florida.

Survivors include his father Scott Ninker of Steeleville, IL; mother Gina Reinhold Montroy (special sired Randy Brunkhorst) of Red Bud, IL; step father Andy Montroy of Evansville, IL; three sisters: Jessa Montroy, Jaydian Montroy, and Nicole Brunkhorst, all of Red Bud, IL; grand-parents: Robert & Mary Ninker of Marco Island, FL, David & Pat Reinhold of Prairie du Rocher, IL, and Rich & Brenda Montroy of Schuline, IL; great-grandmother Ethel Montroy of Belleville, IL; Aunts & Uncles: Rob & Monica Ninker of Shanghai, China, Sara Reinhold & Albert Viaplana of St. Louis, MO, Tricia & Aaron Leu of Lancaster, OH, Mandy & Justin Ederer of St. Louis, MO, and Eric & Elizabeth Montroy of Sparta, IL; many cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by great grandparents: Paul & Henrietta Warner, Marie Ninker, Bill & Norma Reinhold, Norvel & Dorothy Deterding, Harvey & Viola Grefe and Lawrence Montroy; and two uncles : Jesse Schilling & Gregory Montroy.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud, Illinois with Pastor Darrell Jones and Deacon Steve Pautler officiating.

Interment was in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, Evansville, Illinois. Memorials may be given to Make a Wish Foundation or Kurt Warner's First Things First Foundation.
