Don Walter Beggs

Don Walter Beggs, 84, of Du Quoin, passed away at 6:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012 at his residence.

Don was owner and mechanic of Beggs Sales and Service for 43 years, retiring in 1990. He worked at the Perry County Courthouse as a bailiff for five years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Du Quoin. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Du Quoin Elks, Masonic Lodge 32nd degree, Scottish Rites, American Legion and V.F.W.
