Du Quoin police blotter
The following information was obtained from the Du Quoin Police Department, covering the dates of Oct. 16-21. Note that arrests and charges are allegations only, not findings of guilt. People listed as incarcerated may no longer be in jail.
Sunday, Oct. 18
• Adam L. Melvin, 32, of Du Quoin, was arrested on a Franklin County warrant for failure to appear in court on a possession of methamphetamine charge. Was jailed.
• Trey R. Thompson, 30, of Du Quoin, was cited with COV obstructing a peace officer; was given a notice to appear.
Tuesday, Oct. 20
• Zachary A. McIntosh, 25, of Du Quoin, was charged with domestic battery. Was jailed.
• Colton M. Olsen, 28, of Du Quoin, arrested on a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on an operating an uninsured motor vehicle charge. Was jailed.
• Nicholas T. Kimble, 43, of Du Quoin, was cited with having no valid registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol by driver; was given a notice to appear.
Wednesday, Oct. 21
• Justin R. Applekamp, 41, of Sesser, was cited with operating an uninsured motor vehicle; was given a notice to appear.
• Amber M. Williams, 31, of Elkville was arrested on a Hamilton County warrant for failure to appear on a possession of methamphetamine charge; posted $375 cash bond and was released.
