Lois J. Williams of rural Harrisburg

Lois J. Williams, 83, of rural Harrisburg, died at 5:42 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.

Graveside services will held at noon Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021 at Lakeview Cemetery in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. The Rev. Ownly Williams will officiate. Due to COVID-19, social distancing and mask are required.

Lois was born on March 1, 1937 in Mount Vernon to the late Richard and Jewell (Russell) Cofield.

Lois married Cecil Williams on May 18, 1970 and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2017.

She worked many years as a factory worker and also a beauty operator before her retirement. She loved her family and her church, where she was a member of the Harvest Deliverance Center in Harrisburg.

Lois is survived by four children, Wynette (James) Render of Gulf Port, Mississippi, Zachary (Jeanie) Kendrick of Harrisburg, David McReynolds of Carrier Mills and Turquoise Kendrick of Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Nicholas (Lori) Kendrick of Evansville, Indiana, Jamie Render of Gulf Port, Mississippi, Neal Render of Chicago and Anthony Michael McReynolds of Indianapolis; and six great-grandchildren, Tamara Kendrick, Devin Kendrick, Dylan Kendrick, Drew Kendrick, Kamari Smith and Karmen Smith.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil Williams; and two brothers, Larry Cofield and Cecil Cofield.
