Doris Francis 'Tiny' Dodd of Shawneetown

Doris Francis "Tiny" Dodd, 77, of Shawneetown, passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 after an extended illness.

She was born on June 25, 1940 near Shawneetown, the daughter of the late Claud and Opal (Brison) Maynard. Tiny married Eugene "Gene" Dodd in 1993. She was a member of the Church of God in Shawneetown.

Tiny is survived by her husband, Gene Dodd of Shawneetown; one brother, Lewis Fred Tucker of Paducah, Kentucky; and one daughter, Cheryl and Chad James of Carterville.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Velma "Sis" Darnell and Lorene Patrick; six brothers, Charles R. "Bob", Eugene, Charles "Red", Bernard, Harrison Tucker and Theodore Boulds.

Visitation for Tiny will be held on Wednesday, April 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Vickery Funeral Chapel in Shawneetown.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 12 at the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Vaughn and the Rev. Ted Boulds officiating. Burial will be at the Hogan Cemetery near Shawneetown.
