Robert Franklin 'Bob' Sisky of Harrisburg
Robert Franklin "Bob" Sisky, 60, of Harrisburg, passed away Sept. 5, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana.
He was born March 26, 1959 to June Jarrells and the late Frank Sisky. Growing up, Bob loved playing baseball and was a lifelong avid sports fan. His favorite baseball team was the Pittsburg Pirates.
Bob graduated Harrisburg High School in 1977; he attended Southeastern Illinois College, received an associate in science at John A. Logan College and attended Southern Illinois University.
Bob worked for many years at Crownline Boat Manufacturing in Benton.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Sisky; paternal grandmother, Josephine Sisky; maternal grandparents, Leo and Romola Fowler; uncle, Dale Reynolds; and a former girlfriend, Lynn Stephanou.
He is survived by his parents Ray and June Jarrells; sisters, Janis (Curt) Wilson, Linda (Alan) Lane; a nephew, Ben Wilson; a niece, Brittany (Kyle) Hodson; nephew, Mitchell Lane; aunt, Mary Bower; Lynn's daughter Liberty (Shane); and Colton Steinmetz.
Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019 at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home in Eldorado. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local charity or food pantry in Bob's memory.
