James Arthur 'Jimmy Jack' Jackson
James Arthur "Jimmy Jack" Jackson, 76, died Friday, May 28, 2021 at his residence. His wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time.
He was born on March 28, 1945 in Harrisburg to the late Ralph Curran and Marion Tulip (Taylor) Jackson.
He was a carpenter, working many years for Bob Cooper Construction. Jimmy Jack's favorite song was "People are Crazy" by Billy Currington. He was a great father who loved to spend time with his grandchildren. He was loved by everyone who knew him.
He is survived by two sons, Darren Ross Jackson of Harrisburg and Scotty Alan Jackson; four daughters, Ashley Wingate of Marion, Darla Keller and Dee Shaw, both of Colorado, and Lyndsay England; two sisters, Carolyn (Dean) Mallady and Linda Moore, both of Harrisburg; and six grandchildren, Bethany Hayes, Gabrielle Jackson, Felicia Jackson, Dallas Dakota Jackson, Israel Jackson and Christian Jackson.
He was preceded in death by six brothers, Stanley Jackson, Jack Jackson, Claude Jackson, Clyde Jackson, Carl Jackson and Jerry Jackson.
