Mary Ann Rednour

Mary Ann Rednour, 82, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Colp, Ill.

Mary Ann had been a homemaker. She was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin. She loved to crochet and made many beautiful things throughout the years for her family and friends.

She was born May 26, 1932 at Cutler, Ill., the daughter of Ellis F. and Sophia (McMillan) Loyd.

She married Fred L. Rednour in 1957 and he preceded her in death on Dec. 20, 1969.

She is survived by one daughter - Patricia M. Childers and husband Randy of Colp, Ill., three sisters - Elizabeth Bruns of Du Quoin, Marguerite Helfers of Percy and Luella Woolford of Du Quoin, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers - Lester Loyd, Leonard Loyd and Thomas Loyd and one sister - Marie Brown.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin with Rev. Gaylen Holden and Rev. Dennis Fitzsimmons officiating.

Friends may call from 8 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Friday.

Burial will be in the Percy Cemetery at Percy, Ill.

Friends may make memorials to the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin and will be accepted at the funeral home.
