Marlene (Miller) Warren of Harrisburg

Marlene (Miller) Warren, 83, of Harrisburg passed away June 3, 2021 at the Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab Center, where she had resided since late June, 2020.

She was born on April 7, 1938 to the late Carl and Fannie (Richey) Miller. Marlene is survived by her children, Lisa (Kevin) Stunson and Jerry Warren; two grandchildren, Cory Stunson and Tyler Stunson; and three great-grandchildren, Layla Stunson, Macy Stunson and newborn Jason Stunson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Fannie (Richey) Miller, her husband, William (Bill) Warren and a baby son, Jeffrey Warren.

Marlene battled dementia for about the last two years, but remained independent in her own home with the help of her loving son, Jerry, who resided with her until she became a resident of the Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab Center in late June, 2020.

Marlene loved her family, her friends and the Lord with all her heart. She was an active member of her Harrisburg High School Class of 1956 reunion group, planning activities and honoring classmates who passed before her.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Sloan Funeral Home in Galatia, with a graveside service following at Ingram Hill Cemetery in Harrisburg.
