Brenda L. Cullum of Marion
Brenda L. Cullum, 81 of Marion died at 9:26 p.m. Sunday March 7, 2021 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Visitation will be held after 11 a.m. until service time Saturday. The Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate and burial will be at Union Grove Cemetery near Pittsburg.
Brenda was born on Feb. 4, 1940 in Pittsburg to the late Leo and Mary Lucile (West) Evrard.
Brenda married George G. Cullum on June 4, 1956 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 24, 2020.
She worked at Nationwide Glove factory for many years and then worked and retired as an assembly line worker at General Dynamics. She was also the union steward for many years before her retirement. She loved to be outdoors gardening and planting flowers. She enjoyed singing and dancing. Her biggest passion was spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Brenda is survived by four daughters, Toni (David) Sinks of Eldorado, Tracy Cullum of Marion, Tina (David) Beasley of Johnston City and Trisha (Denny) Halleran of Marion; five grandchildren, Valerie (Troy) Williams, Derrick (Danielle) Sinks, Blake Reamy, Kayla Halleran and Coy Halleran; six great-grandchildren, Afton Williams, Klayton Williams, Anthony Williams, Darin Sinks, Victoria Sinks and Payton Reamy; two sisters, Shelba (John) Jackson and Sherry (Larry) Motsinger, both of Pittsburg; brother-in-law, Reuben Alcala; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, George Cullum; parents, Leo and Mary Lucile Evrard; and sister, Janice Acala.
