Brenda K. Phillips of Carrier Mills

Brenda K. Phillips, 70, of Carrier Mills, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2018 at 2:05 p.m. at Harrisburg Medical Center.

Her family's wishes are for her to be cremated. No services are scheduled at this time. Felty Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Brenda was born on July 7, 1948 in Carrier Mills, to the late Leslie and Anna (Brannock) Johnson.

She attended the Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg when she was able. She also did office work before her illness.

Brenda is survived by a daughter, Laura (Keith) Tite of Carrier Mills; a sister, Diane Owens of Raleigh; three brothers, Johnny Johnson, David Johnson and Matthew Johnson, all of Raleigh; and a grandson, Evan Edwards.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Patty Edwards and Tammy Tanner; a sister, Lisa Grover; and a brother, Freeman Johnson.
