C.J. Pulke, formerly of Tamaroa

C.J. Pulke, age 36, formerly of Tamaroa, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021 in Chicago.

C.J. was born on Nov. 15, 1984 in Carbondale, Illinois, a son to Morris Paul Pulke and Yvonne (Sizemore) Nash. He worked as a farmer, landscaper and did lawn care. He loved fishing, spending time with friends and family and of course, always being the life of the party.

Survivors include his two children, Kylie Pulke and Cade Pulke; his mother, Yvonne (Keith) Nash; his father, Paul Pulke; a brother, Justin Pulke; three sisters, Angela (Josh) Pitman, Victoria (Shawn) Byrley, and Valerie (Joe) Binkley; paternal grandparents, Morris and Lillian Pulke; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Matt Nash; maternal grandparents, Joe and Gaye McClanahan, and William Sizemore; a niece, Rylee Pulke; and a cousin, Caleb Pulke.

Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 16 at Pyatt Funeral Home in Du Quoin, with the Rev. Dan McKinnies officiating. Interment will be at Campbell Cemetery in Tamaroa.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, at Pyatt Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

All COVID-19 mandates and regulations will be enforced at the funeral home.
