Wildcats baseball gets a decisive win over Pinckneyville

MARION - The Marion Wildcats opened the 2022 season on Monday afternoon with a decisive 15-6 win over Pinckneyville.

The Wildcats put up two runs in the first two innings before the Panthers roared back, scoring five of their six runs in the second.

Marion came back in the third scoring seven runs. The Wildcats then added two more in the fourth and fifth to lock up the win in the opener.
