River-to-River Trail Society sets second hike of spring season

SOUTHERN ILLINOIS - The River-to-River Trail Society will hold its second hike of the spring hiking season in the Thacker Hollow area on Saturday, Mar. 19.

This 5.5-mile hike is about four hours and is intended for people in good health who have done some hiking. It is free and open to the public.

Hiking sticks and boots or sturdy shoes are strongly recommended. Hikers should bring their own water and a snack. No dogs, please.

Hikers should meet at 10 a.m. at the pole barn a quarter mile east of Double M Campground. Please do not park on the grass.
