Du Quoin native is 2019 volleyball coach of the year

Du Quoin resident Donette Wheatley has been named the 2019 South Egyptian Conference Volleyball Coach of the Year. Wheatley coaches multiple sports at the Elverado schools in Elkville. The announcement was delayed until now because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
