MHS soccer improves to 14-2 after win over Carterville-Herrin

CARTERVILLE - It was definitely a "good Friday" for the Marion High School girls soccer team.

After dropping two games last week, the Wildcats got back to adding checks in the win column with a 4-1 win over Carterville-Herrin at Carterville on Friday afternoon.

Marion took a 2-0 lead in the half and came out to draw first blood in the second half when Margaux scored her second goal of the game.

Bruce scored her third goal of the game with just over two minutes left to seal the victory for the Wildcats.
