Brothers found dead inside car Sunday morning
Police are investigating the deaths of twin brothers, found inside a vehicle in the Du Quoin Walmart parking lot early Sunday morning.
Jeremy W. Sizemore and Jarrod W. Sizemore, 41, both lived in Du Quoin.
Du Quoin Police Chief Steve Ingram said the bodies of the two men were discovered by police at 1:26 a.m. Sunday, in the front seats of the vehicle.
Ingram said a caller alerted police that two men were unresponsive inside a vehicle.
A news release sent out by Ingram on Monday morning said the cause of death is unknown at present, and autopsies have been scheduled but not yet performed.
Ingram, asked if there were any outward signs of violence, would not respond but said only that the investigation is continuing.
According to an online wedding registry, Jarrod Sizemore was scheduled to be married on Oct. 3.
The investigation is being conducted by the Du Quoin Police Department, Perry County Sheriff's Office, Perry County Coroner's Office, Illinois State Police Crime Scene Investigators, and the Perry County Ambulance Service, the news release added.
