Teresa Jackson named hospital employee of the quarter
Memorial Hospital CEO Brett Bollmann has named Teresa Jackson the Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter 2020.
Teresa has worked at Memorial Hospital's Rural Health Clinic since November 2012. She is a Medical Assistant and Patient Coordinator.
"I really enjoy being able to help patients get set up with specialists and for imaging," Jackson said. "The gratitude and appreciation from the patients really makes my job worth all the hard work.
"Most of all I love my work family! We have such a good group of ladies and gentlemen here at RHC."
In nominating Jackson, her co-workers wrote, "She always goes above and beyond to help our patients, always treating them with care and compassion. Patient care is her priority above anything else and she gets along with everyone!
"She always has a heavy workload but handles it well, in a timely manner and with a smile. She is always willing to help and always makes you smile when you are having a bad day. She works very well with all departments in the hospital."
Teresa lives in Sparta with her husband Scott and their three kids, Layla, Brodie and Warren. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends.
For her honor, Jackson received a personal plaque, cash prize and parking spot of her choice for the next three months.
Each quarter employees are encouraged to submit "star cards" for their co-workers who go above and beyond in their patient care or team work. Four random cards were also drawn: Leah Freytag, LPN at the Rural Health Clinic; Rhonda Mott, Chief Radiologic Technician; Nicole Clifton, Laboratory; and Julie Hartman, LPN in ER. Each were winners of a monetary award for their star nominations.
