Parents can request FT remote schooling
District 300 families can still request full-time remote learning for the 2nd quarter. Children who have been full-time remote-learners for the first quarter are asked to sign up for the second quarter so the district is clear about who wants to continue. The form to sign up for full-time remote learning for the 2nd quarter is at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd7q3Qs35McGJsXAjWugtX-adI-h7uZ7TNFfBK2mhRha6Porg/viewform, and the window will remain open through Friday, Oct. 2.
Comings and goings
The school board accepted Scott Clark's letter of resignation as the high school in-school suspension supervisor, effective Aug. 26, 2020. The board accepted Martha Neal's letter of resignation as a high school secretary/bookkeeper, effective Sept. 18. The board accepted Susan Stratton's letter of intent to retire as a library aide at the end of the 2021-2022 school year. The board accepted Laura Rea's letter of intent to retire as an aide at the end of the 2021-2022 school year.
Meanwhile, the board employed Sarah Furlow as an aide at the elementary school for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year and employed Keith Ellis as an assistant football coach and assistant boys' basketball coach for the 2020-2021 school year.
