Coulterville makes donations, approves bid

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The Coulterville Village Board of Trustees was in a generous mood Monday agreeing to a motion to donate to the Chamber of Commerce, who is purchasing tables, benches and trash receptacles for the downtown park. The amount of the donation will be finalized when the final cost of the project is determined.

The board also approved a $100 donation to Southwestern Illinois College for the annual SWIC Regional Leaders Breakfast.

After reviewing bids for oiling and chipping streets, the board accepted the bid from Illini Asphalt Co in the amount of $36,517.47.

The board's next regular meeting will be held on October 13 at 7 p.m.
