</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[The weekend's 30th annual Tim Bell Memorial Chapter Ducks Unlimited Banquet was hugely successful with over 250 in attendance. Sponsors say they feel they have turned the corner on restoring all of the goodwill and wildlife conservation charity work that inspired the creation of the banquet in 1979. The newspaper is waiting for a list of raffle and auction item winners. The artwork raffled is pictured above. In a related note, auctioneer Tom Rheinecker told members of the chapter that th night took his years of charity work over the $2 million mark in terms of money raised for Southern Illinois causes, a remarkable milestone.
