Du Quoin Rolls to First Round Victory !

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ A.J. Hill scored three rushing touchdowns and completed 15 passes for 237 yards Saturday afternoon, leading Du Quoin to an impressive 40-6 win over Pana as the Class 3A State Playoffs opened Saturday on a sun-drenched Van Metre Field.

Du Quoin, 9-1, visits undefeated Carterville (10-0), next weekend. The game is expected to be played at 1 o'clock Saturday, Nov. 8.

Hill also threw a 72-yard scoring pass to David Rose, setting a new single season DHS record with 21 TD's.

David Gayton and Ben Conner added the final two Indian scores.
