Pinckneyville's City Funds Running Low

The applications for grants must be completed thoroughly and carefully considering the state is slim on cash as well and only the most accurate of applications will be considered.

Harold Emling of Emling and Hoffman, PC Certified Public Accountants presented the City of Pinckneyville Illinois general purpose financial statements for the year ending April 30, 2008, and the Illinois Tax Increment Financing Fund auditor's report, April 30, 2008. The Council approved both reports.

Approved O-2008-09, an ordinance levying taxes for corporate purposes for the fiscal year commencing May 1, 2008, and ending April 30, 2009, as placed on file at the previous meeting.

Approved a contract between the City and the Kellerman Brothers for the 2008 Pool Project, as placed on file at the previous meeting. The only change to the contract was to remove the item that contracted the building to be painted due to going over budget.

Placed on file for public inspection a grant agreement between Delta Regional Authority and the City of Pinckneyville for Project #IL-5111, the water line grant for the Cooper B-Line Project.

Approved R-2008-42, a resolution authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the Delta Regional Authority as it relates to grant #IL-5111.

Approved the Kaskaskia Engineering Agreement between the City and Kaskaskia Engineering Group LLC for wetland survey at the West Side Industrial Park in the amount of $6,760.00, as placed on file at the previous meeting.

Considered amendments to the Perry Pointe Development Agreement in an attempt to settle disputes over the development of property north of Imperial Heights.
