</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ In Du Quoin, advance tickets for the IHSA Class 3A State Championship Game will be sold Tuesday night.

Sales are from 5-7 p.m. in the lobby of Anders Gymnasium.

All tickets are priced by the IHSA at $10 per person.

Tickets will be good for any of the four games played Friday.

However, fans may not leave the stadium. All seats are general admission and every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket.

Du Quoin will be the visiting team, with its fan seating north of the 50-yard line in the west main stands of Memorial Stadium.

Public Pep Rally

Du Quoin High School will host a public pep rally Wednesday.

The event starts at 1:50 p.m. and is held inside Anders Memorial Gym.

The DHS pep club is sponsoring the rally.

Send-Off, Caravan

Du Quoin Athletic Boosters invite fans and friends to see the Indian team travel party off to Champaign for the Class 3A State title game Friday morning.

Buses leave at 9:30 a.m. sharp from the high school. with police and fire escort.

Fans wanting car windows painted are also invited to the high school.

Welcome Home Friday

A welcome back celebration and ceremony is planned- win or lose- for Du Quoin's football team late Friday night.

The Indians are expected to arrive back in town around 11 p.m.

Ceremonies will follow inside Anders Memorial Gymnasium.

IHSA Tent City

IHSA tent City is located directly southwest of Memorial Stadium on First Street and Kirby Avenue.

Tent City opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. for Du Quoin and Illini West.

Per IHSA rules no alcohol is permitted on the grounds or in Memorial Stadium.

Following the game, Du Quoin players gather at Tent City for pizza and to visit with fans before heading home.

A spirit competition between the two schools will also be held with judging at 3 p.m.

IHSA Game Rules

The following items are not allowed in Memorial Stadium during the state finals weekend; alcoholic beverages of any kind , backpacks and bags, banners and signs, bota bags/wine skins, coolers and containers, fireworks, whistles, horns, noisemakers, bottles (glass or plastic) and cans, large lens cameras, strollers, tri-pods, umbrellas and video cameras, weapons of any kind.

Smoking is prohibited in any area inside the stadium walls.

The Du Quoin Athletic Boosters continue to sell 25th Anniversary Du Quoin Football Playoff t-shirts.

Costs are $12 for sizes S-XL with XXL and bigger $18 each.
