PCHS Golfers Improve to 3-0

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Pinckneyville Community High School hiked its early season boys golf record to 3-0 Thursday, easily defeating Waltonville and Du Quoin at Red Hawk Golf Club.

The Panthers (161) enjoyed a 38-stroke edge over Waltonville (199) with Du Quoin (212) 51 shots back. Senior Joey McDaniel led PCHS with a 36. Preston Chapman (39) was next with Matt Gill (42) and Corbin Gauch (44) also scoring.

Du Quoin (0-2) was topped by Andrew Riley's 49.
