Du Quoin's Frosh and Sophs Impressive in Saturday Grid Wins

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Du Quoin defeated Bethalto Civic Memorial in Saturday's freshman football game.

The final score was 18-7. The Indians scored on TD passes of 30 and eight yards from Sam Gossett to Jonathon Boss. Quivon Bledsoe added the final Du Quoin tally with a 45-yard fumble return.

In the sophomore game, Trent Bigham passed for a TD and ran for three others as the young Indians blasted BCM, 35-7.

Bigham's TD pass was to James Williams. He also rushed for scores from 40, 38 and two yards out. Jerrill Holmes ran for the other Tribe TD.
