Marshall Browning signs new surgeon
Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin is pleased to welcome its new general surgeon, Dr. Malcolm A. Schulz, to Marshall Browning Hospital beginning November 30.
Dr. Schulz received his Doctorate of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. He completed his residency in general surgery at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, West Virginia where he was Chief Resident. He completed a Fellowship in Trauma/Critical Care at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Dr. Schulz will provide surgical services at Marshall Browning Hospital for a broad range of medical and surgical conditions including cholecystectomy, small/large bowel surgery, hernia repair, reflux surgery, upper and lower endoscopy, treatment of hemorrhoidal disease and carpal tunnel release.

"Dr. Schulz is a very experienced, board certified general surgeon who is fellowship trained in surgical critical care and trauma.
