Theresa Reidelberger
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Theresa Marie Reidelberger, 81, of Tamaroa, passed away at 12:35 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.
She was a homemaker and had been a piece worker at Country Set and Bridal Originals in Du Quoin for 35 years. She lived for the love of her life, her family. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa. She was a member and officer of the Altar Society of the church for many years. Theresa was very active in the social activities of the church. She donated many hours of her time and talent for the city of Tamaroa. She was an avid bingo and lottery ticket player and loved to embroider. She was a member of the ILGWU local union.
Theresa was born Jan. 5, 1927 at Tamaroa, the daughter of Frank and Emma (Ziarnek) Dreczka.
She is survived by three children, Carol Przygoda and husband Raymond of Pinckneyville, Larry Reidelberger and wife Jenny of Tamaroa and Sharon Chapman and husband Frank of Tamaroa; three sisters, Clara Rybacki, Helen Chitwood and Mary Ann Harbin, all of St. Louis, Mo.; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Chasity Chapman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa with Fr. Larry Lemay, Msgr. Hyacinth Mazuchowski, Fr. Bernard Goedde Jr., Fr. Peter Hsu, and Fr. Jim VanOss officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.
Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Memorials can be made to the Chasity Chapman Scholarship Fund at the Pinckneyville High School and will be accepted at the funeral home.
