Mildred Lowber

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Mildred E. Radake Lowber, 74, of Centralia, passed away at 10:23 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

Mildred had worked as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese and for Home Healthcare. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was born Aug. 5, 1933, at St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Phillip and Nellie (Watson) Knapp.

She is survived by four children, Karen Dontigney of Lebanon, Ill., Steve Harris of Tamaroa, Michael Radake of Posey and Randy Radake of Effingham; 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Hosea Harris; two brothers, Willie Knapp and Edward Knapp and two sisters, Zelpha Henschel and Ceola Campbell.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, at the Tamaroa Cemetery in Tamaroa with Rev. John Knapp officiating.

Burial will be in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.
