Jean O'Neill

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Jean R. "Jeanie" O'Neill, of Clearwater, Fla., born April 15,1941, in Du Quoin, to Eugene and Catherine (Katie) Rodman, passed away Feb. 11, 2008, at home, after an extended battle with cancer.

Mrs. O'Neill attended Sacred Heart School in Du Quoin, graduated from Du Quoin Township High School in 1959, and moved to Clearwater in 1980. She was employed by Parodyne Corporation prior to her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Rodman; her stepfather, Paul McDonald; and her stepbrother, Gary McDonald.

Jeanie is survived by her husband, Donald O'Neill; her sons, Jack and Jay Mc Hale; a stepson, Shawn; two stepdaughters, Barbara Wells and Kathleen Sickler; her mother, Catherine Rodman McDonald of Freeburg; two brothers, John (Carolyn) Rodman and Charles (Francie) Rodman; three sisters, Kaki Fedak, Patricia Ansley, and Jo Beth (Jack) Monteith; a stepsister-in-law, Janice McDonald; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in her memory to The Hospice Foundation of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.

Per Jeanie's request there will be no funeral services. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
