Connie Kuberski

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Mrs. Connie Kuberski of DuBois, departed this life at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital in Pinckneyville, on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at 1:45 a.m. She had attained the age of 62 years and 17 days.

Mrs. Kuberski was born on February 18, 1946 at Centralia the daughter of Theodore J. and Fay (Polley) Keil, Sr. She was united in marriage to Benedict (Ben) Kuberski of January 16, 1965 at St. Charles Catholic Church in DuBois and he preceded her in death on August 20, 1999.

Connie worked for Sherman Bus Service as a secretary and radio operator and was also a former bus driver. She was a Webelos Den Leader for the Ashley Cub Scout Pack 145 and a board member for the Ashley Grade School. Connie was a member of the Tamaroa Rebecca Lodge 501, Post Noble Grands Club, Royal Neighbors of America, AARP chapter in DuBois and the St. Charles Catholic Church of DuBois. Connie was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed quilting with her special friend Susie Davis.

Left to mourn her passing are her daughter, Sherry Cotter and her husband Jeff of Nashville; four sons, Gary Kuberski, Curtis Kuberski, Terry Kuberski and his wife Blanca all of DuBois, and Steven Kuberski and his wife Regina of California; a brother, Henry (Pete) Keil and his wife Donna of Alma Center, Wisc.; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Keil of DuBois and Lorraine Kuberski of Granite City; a brother-in-law, Roger Kuberski of Mt. Vernon; four grandsons, Bryce Cotter of Nashville, Brandon Kuberski of Chicago, Jordan and Jonathan Kuberski of DuBois, and a granddaughter, Emma Kuberski of California; nieces, nephews, and other relation and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Teddy Keil and two sisters Jean Dycus and Phyllis Keil.

Funeral Services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville on Friday, March 7, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Scott Sharp officiating and interment in the Chapel Hill Cemetery in DuBois.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. until the service hour.

Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Southern Illinois, Friends of Scouting of Okaw Valley Council or the Donor's Choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
