Carmelita Williams

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Carmelita Williams, 59, of Du Quoin, passed away at 1:45 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2008, at the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Carmelita had been a caregiver for Home Health Care.

She was born Aug. 13, 1948, at Christopher, the daughter of Clarence Otto and Mina Clifton (Myers) Eubanks.

She is survived by one son, Clint Wesley Galloway of West Frankfort; one adopted son, Clint Dale Williams of Vienna; grandson, Dustin Galloway of Springfield; granddaughter, Kristy Scronce of Du Quoin; grandson, Garret Galloway of West Frankfort; great granddaughter, Erin Taylor Scronce of Du Quoin; and special cousin and her husband, Donna and Nick Scro of Du Quoin.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per Carmelita's request, cremation services were held.

There will be no public visitation or funeral.

Burial of the cremains will be at a later date at the Maple Hill Cemetery at Sesser.
