Anna Hill

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Anna Hill, 100, of Effingham, passed away at 4:59 a.m., April 17, 2008, at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 25, 1907, to Stephen and Antonina (Mekenas) Barauskaus. On Oct. 4, 1924, she married Richard R. Hill, Sr., who preceeded her in death in 1979. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Robert E. Hill and Donald Hill of Effingham; 6 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceeded in death by her parents; husband; one brother; and one son, Richard R. Hill, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held graveside, April 20, 1 p.m., at Maple Hill Cemetery, Sesser. There will be no visitation.
