Julius J. Peradotta

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Julius J. Peradotta, age 83, of Pinckneyville, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 6:41 p.m. in Pinckneyville Community Hospital, Pinckneyville.

Julius was born on July 7, 1925 in Perry County, a son to Peter Anthony and Maryann M. (Cuccatti) Peradotto. He was a veteran of the United States Army drafted into the Korean War on September 22, 1950 and honorably discharged on September 11, 1952. He was a member of St. Bruno Catholic Church, Pinckneyville, had retired as a conductor for Illinois Central Railroad after 41 years of service and was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

Survivors include three brothers: John (Karen) Peradotto, Richard (Ladonna) Peradotto, and Carl (Virginia) Peradotta, all of Pinckneyville, two sisters: Marjorie Peradotto of Marissa, and Doris (Clinton) Ing of Pittsburg, and many dear nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: George Peradotto, and a sister: Lucille Stern.

Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Tuesday, September 23, at 10 a.m. with Father James Van Noss officiating. Interment will be in St. Bruno Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m.
