Lois Ivo Eisenhauer
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Lois Ivo Eisenhauer, age 80, of Du Quoin, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 1:05 a.m. in Carbondale Memorial Hospital, Carbondale.
Lois was born on November 12, 1927 in Du Quoin, a daughter to Raymond Orvis and Edna Mae (Ferguson) Enloe. On September 21, 1946, she married Jacob Casper Eisenhauer and he preceded her in death on April 16, 1987. Lois was a homemaker, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Du Quoin, a member of Catholic Daughters of America, past president of the P.T.A., Chicago, Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout den mother, hosted a World War II reunion in St. Louis, Mo., and attended many other World War II reunions. Lois enjoyed quilting and crocheting.
She is survived by four daughters: Linda (Mike) Conard of Elgin, Pamela O'Neill of McHenry, Valerie (Dale) Mayes of Kingman, Ariz., and Cynthia (David) Gammill of West Frankfort, two sons: Brian (Rochelle) Eisenhauer of Burlington, and Donald Eisenhauer of Rantoul, two sisters: Alberta Lashbrook of Macomb, and Ruby Susek of Henderson, Nev., twenty two grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by her parents, husband and granddaughter: Amanda Marie O'Brian.
Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Du Quoin, on Thursday, October 16, at 10 a.m. with Father Harry Jerome officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Du Quoin.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 8 a.m until 9:30 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m.
