Mable L. Wynn

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Mable L. Wynn, 96, of Du Quoin, passed away at 11:05 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2008, at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.

Mable had worked as a clerk at Sheehan Grocery Store. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Du Quoin.

She was born April 22, 1912 at Ullin, the daughter of Henry Mack and Sarah (Settlemoir) Davis.

She married Russell Cavins in 1930 at Pinckneyville and he preceded her in death in 1950. She then married Quinn O. Wynn on December 16, 1972, at Pinckneyville and he preceded her in death on January 28, 2000.

She is survived by one daughter - Carrie Lou Eubanks and husband Howard of Sesser, two step daughters - Janet Wagner and Exie Doerr, both of Du Quoin, one step son - William Wynn of Du Quoin, one brother - Galen Davis of Du Quoin, seven grandchildren, eight step grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and several step great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one step son - Charles Wynn, four sisters, and four brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, November 28, at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Jim Endsley officiating.

Friends may call from Noon until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the First Baptist Church Building Fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.
