Edith M. Feltmeyer

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Edith M. Feltmeyer, 88, of Cambridge House in Maryville and formerly of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 1:25 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2009 at Anderson Hospital. She was born June 3, 1920 in Pinckneyville, Illinois, a daughter of the late Franklin Perry and Carrie Belle (Logan) Reidelberger.

She married Everett L. Feltmeyer on November 4, 1937 in Pinckneyville and he survives. She was a homemaker and had worked for Granite City School District with 15 years of dedicated service as a cook. She was a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship in Granite City and will be remembered for the love of her family and the special times spent with her grandchildren.

In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Carol Feltmeyer of Maryville and Charles and Margaret Feltmeyer of Granite City; six grandchildren and spouses, Randy and Chris Feltmeyer, Chad and Tina Feltmeyer, Angela Feltmeyer, Jessica and Todd Seders, David and Darlene Heine, Dana and Scott Carney; thirteen great-grandchildren; other extended family and friends.

In addition to her beloved parents, she was preceded in death by one infant son, Larry Feltmeyer; five brothers, Warren, Renzo, Lester, Wilfred and Gene Reidelberger and four sisters, Lola Simon, Florence "Toots" Hester, Ruth Keene and twin sister, Ora Engelhardt.

In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Monday, January 5, 2009 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 12 noon with Reverend Randy Vollmar officiating. Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Park in Du Quoin, Illinois on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 3 p.m. with Reverend Doug Rice officiationg. Memorials may be made to a charity of one&#237;s choice and may be accepted at the funeral home.
