Enoch A. Morris

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Enoch A. Morris, 77, of Du Bois, passed away at 1:50 a.m., Sunday, February 1, 2009 at his home.

Enoch retired as a shovel operator at the Captain Mine. He was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge at Mt. Vernon, Knights of Columbus at Du Bois, past member of the Ashley School Board and the Nashville Highschool Board. He was a Democrat precinct commiteeman, and was a member of the UMWofA.

He was born July 4, 1931 at Du Quoin, the son of Leslie E. and Barbara M. (Owens) Morris.

Enoch married Madalyn M. Waldman on September 15, 1951 at the St. Charles Church in Du Bois and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of Du Bois, six children- Karen Bunker and husband Harvey of Nashville, Terry Morris and wife Marla of Batavia, Ohio, Barry Morris and wife Jeanne of Nashville, Tammy Ryterski and husband Paul of Nashville, Tim Morris of O'Fallon, Kim Morris and wife Carrie of Nashville, eighteen grandchildren- Derek Kania, Deitt Goforth and husband Jason, DeAnn Kania, Shannon Kania, Kylie Bunker, Garrett Morris and wife Susan, Justin Morris, Jace Morris, Brendan Morris, Blaine Morris, Jenna Morris, Tara Ryterski, Ryan Ryterski, Grace Morris, Lucy Morris, Sophia Morris, Katelyn Morris, Joe Morris, three great grandchildren- Brynn Stiegman, Emma Kay Morris, Jaxon Goforth, sister- Patty Jankoska and husband Dr. Richard of Bay City, Mich., two brothers- Tom and Joe, Bro.-In-Law- Wallace Waldman and wife Carol of Du Bois, sisters-in-law- Carol Willis and husband Jack of Mt. Vernon and Charlotte Dalman and husband Jerry of Du Bois, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son- Gary Morris and grandson- Jared Ryan Morris.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois with Fr. Oliver Nwachukwu and Fr. Andrew Knopik officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m., Tuesday at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Du Bois, and from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church on Wednesday.

The Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m., Tuesday at the church.

Burial will be in the St. Charles Cemetery at Du Bois.

Friends may make memorials to Masses or the St. Charles Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
