Obituary for Marvin Carl Rust

MARVIN CARL RUST, 84, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at <span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">12:38 p.m.</span></span>, Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, Missouri.

He was born to the late Floyd and Marie (nee: Loveland) Rust on March 9, 1931 in Sparta, Illinois.

He married Norma Lee Craig on September 18, 1949 in Chester, Illinois. She preceded him in death on April 15, 2014.

Marvin was a supervisor of shipping and receiving for Spartan Printing.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Chester, Chester Elks Lodge #1629 and a founding member of the Chester Boat Club.

Survivors include:

Two children: Marsha Rust, Chester, Gary (Deborah) Rust, Chester

One brother: Duane Rust, Herrin

Two grandchildren: Michelle Rust and Craig Rust

Nieces, nephew, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by:

Parents, wife (Norma Rust) and one granddaughter (Tonya Lynn Rust).

Funeral Service:

<span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">11 a.m. </span></span><span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">Friday, February 19, 2016</span></span> at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester with Rev. Marvin "Bud" Bennett officiating.

Interment:

Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, Illinois.

Visitation:

<span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">Friday</span></span>, <span class="aBn"><span class="aQJ">7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.</span></span> at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois.
