Aline Marie Shupe

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Aline Marie Shupe, 91, of Elkville, passed away at 3:25 A.M., Saturday, February 21, 2009 at her residence.

Aline was a homemaker. She had been a member of Grace Methodist Church in Vergennes. She was a current member of the Elkville Christian Church in Elkville.

She was born September 28, 1917 at Elkville, IL, the daughter of Robert and Mabel (Rees) McCabe.

She married Horace Shupe on April 17, 1938 at Chaffee, MO and he preceded her in death on July 21, 1987.

She is survived by three sisters - Virginia Farner of Carbondale, Bobbie Cobin of Elkville, and Glenna Walker of DeSoto, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday February 23, 2009 at the Elkville Christian Church in Elkville with Bro. Jerry Aken, Bro. Gary Pruitt, and Bro. Ron Kreid officiating.

Friends may call from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Monday at the Elkville Christian Church in Elkville.

Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Murphysboro.

Friends may make memorials to the Elkville Christian Church Building Fund or TIP Hospice Purple Team and will be accepted at the funeral home.
