Richard D. Rudloff

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Richard D. Rudloff, 76, of Centralia, formerly of Lockport, passed away at 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Centralia.

Richard had worked as a foreman for several years at Fisher Body in Joliet. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Du Quoin V.F.W. Richard loved to hunt and fish.

He was born March 22, 1932 at Du Quoin, the son of Charles and Ida (Smith) Rudloff.

He is survived by one daughter - Bonnie Jean Mills and husband Scott of Floral City, Fla., one granddaughter - Marcey Mills of Floral City, Fla., one sister - Irene Miller and husband Cyril of Du Quoin, three nieces - Cyrilla Prusacki of Du Quoin, Rita Harsy of Du Quoin, and Alicia Miller of Pinckneyville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers - Clarence Rudloff and Dwight Rudloff.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2009 at the Nine Mile Cemetery in Tamaroa with V.F.W. Chaplin Jackie Davison officiating.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Du Quoin V.F.W. and American Legion.

Burial will be in the Nine Mile Cemetery in Tamaroa.

Those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
