Dorothy M. Overton

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Dorothy M. Overton, 79, of Du Quoin, formerly of Tamaroa, passed away at 9:15 p.m., Sunday, March 22, 2009 at the Fairview Nursing Center in Du Quoin.

Dorothy had worked as an assembly worker at Five Star Industries since 1986.

She was born April 18, 1929 at Marion, the daughter of Andrew Raymond and Elsie Ruby (Bowen) Overton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother - Archie Overton, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the Five Star Industries and will be accepted at the funeral home.
