John Todd Morris

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ John Todd Morris, 50, of Du Quoin, passed away at 1:05 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2009 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

John was a lineworker at Gilster-Mary Lee. He was of the Protestant faith.

He was born October 25, 1958 at Du Quoin, the son of Billy Gene and Dolores (Greer) Morris.

He married Pruda M. Wynn on December 31, 1983 at Du Quoin and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of Du Quoin, three sons - Justin Todd Morris, Joshua Mitchell Morris, and Johnathan Eugene Morris, all of Du Quoin, two brothers - Alan Morris and wife Fran of Du Quoin and Robert Morris of Carbondale and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Joe Wagner officiating.

Friends may call from Noon until the time of service on Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
