Patrick Nicholas Chapman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Patrick Nicholas Chapman, 60, of Tamaroa, passed away at 11:45 p.m., Thursday, April 16, 2009 at the Herrin Hospital in Herrin.

Patrick was of the Baptist faith.

He was born May 2, 1948 at Centralia, the son of Harry J. and Frances S. (Wyciskalla) Chapman, Jr.

He is survived by his mother of Tamaroa, six brothers and sisters - Frank Chapman and wife Sharon of Tamaroa, David Chapman of Tamaroa, Marla Morgan of Tamaroa, Connie Heisner and husband Gene of Pinckneyville, John Chapman of Tamaroa, and Myra Henson and husband Everett of Du Bois.

He was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents - Harry and Martha Chapman and one niece - Chasity Chapman.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m., Monday, April 20, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa with Rev. Jerry Whittington officiating.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.

Burial will be in the Tamaroa Cemetery at Tamaroa.

Friends may make memorials to the Homestead House in West Frankfort and will be accepted at the funeral home.
