Mildred Lucille Kimzey-Guenther
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Mildred Lucille Kimzey-Guenther, age 84, of Louisville, KY, formerly of Pinckneyville, IL, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 2:12 p.m. in Baptist East Hospital, Louisville, KY.
Mildred was born January 30, 1925 in Cockran, AL, a daughter to Joseph and Cora May (Smithson) Anglin. On February 14, 1943, she married Vallie Kimzey in Alcorn County, MS and he preceded her in death on February 23, 1974. On June 20, 1975, she married Clifford Guenther in Pinckneyville, IL and he preceded her in death on June 16, 1992. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pinckneyville, IL and the Ninth & O Baptist Church, Louisville, KY. Mildred worked at Walker's 5 & 10 as a cashier for 13 years and MCA as a receptionist for 11 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Perry County Historical Society, N.C.H.A. Camping Association and Good Sam Club. Mildred enjoyed sewing, gardening camping and being a housewife.
She is survived by one son Kenneth Kimzey (Jan) of Louisville, KY, two brothers: Joe Anglin and Family of Jackson, TN, Bill Anglin and Family of Past Christian, MS, two grandchildren: Michael Kimzey (Rebekah) and Cheryl Runyan (Eric), one great-grandchild: Olivia Kimzey and numerous members of the Clifford Guenther family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, one daughter: Gertrude Lucille Kimzey, one brother: Robert Anglin and one sister: Mollie Holland.
Funeral services will be held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. with Brother Tim Bauersachs officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, DuQuoin, IL.
Friends may call at Pyatt Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, IL on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
