Michael Lee Lively

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Michael Lee Lively, 64, of Du Quoin, passed away at 10:13 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2009 at his residence.

Michael had worked as a hoist operator for Old Ben Coal Mine #24. He was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin. He was a member of UMW of A and was an avid pool player.

He was born August 26, 1944 at Du Quoin, the son of Clifford Raymond and Alice Elizabeth (King) Lively.

He is survived by one son - John M. Lively of Du Quoin, one grandson - Brent Lively of DeSoto, four brothers - Jerry Lively, Rod Lively, Jim Lively, and Clifford Lively, Jr., all of Du Quoin, six sisters - Linda Conover of Bargersville, Ind., Ruth Ann Fisher of Anna, Alice Sue Simmons of Du Quoin, Shirley Jean Ramsey of Du Quoin, Sharon Rose Brooks of Du Quoin, and Vickie Hendrix of Eldorado, and special friends - Ann Davis, Pat Longshore, Russell McCollum, David Longshore, Maurice Reidelberger, and Chuck Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother - John Eugene Lively.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin with Rev. Dennis Fitzsimmons officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin and from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Wednesday.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
