Terry A. "Merle" Priebe
</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Terry A. "Merle" Priebe, 49, of Percy, passed away at 10:50 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 2009, at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta.
Terry was born August 2, 1959, in Carbondale, the son of Leonard Priebe and Evelyn (Guetersloh) Priebe. Terry married Mary E. Trail on May 26, 1985 at Pinckneyville. Terry was employed at Dorma in Steeleville. He was a member of the St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill. He was on the Thursday night early bowling league. Terry was a member of the Priebe Brothers Band Brothers and Others Band. His loves were his family, music and more music, model trains and the Green Bay Packers.
He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Priebe of Percy; two daughters, Allison and Erica Priebe of Percy; his father, Leonard Priebe of Campbell Hill; three brothers, Robert (Stacy) Priebe of Pinckneyville, Steve (Diann) Priebe of Pinckneyville, and John (a special friend) Priebe or Campbell Hill; mother-in-law, Mary Trail or Pinckneyville; brothers-in-law, Ed (Lisa) Trail, Larry (Cindy) Trail and Dean (Kathy) Trail all of Pinckneyville, and Mark (Lisa) Trail of Cutler; aunts; uncles; several nieces, nephews and one great nephew.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Priebe; and his father-in-law, Hallard Trail.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill with Rev. Raymond Barclay officiating. Burial will follow at Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, from 9 to 10 a.m. Memorials may be made to the family.
