Genetta J. (Tripp) Jackovich

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Genetta J. (Tripp) Jackovich, 80, of Mulkeytown, passed away at 10:50 P.M., Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at the Frankfort Care Center in West Frankfort, IL.

Genetta had worked as a CNA at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She was born July 28, 1928 at Hallidayboro, IL, the daughter of Ira and Eva (Akins) Tripp.

She married Michael D. Jackovich and he preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son - James Hunt of Morris, IL, seven brothers and sisters - Jack Tripp of Olive Branch, Betty Mik of Mulkeytown, Ruth Tripp of Du Quoin, George Tripp of South Carolina, William Tripp of Mulkeytown, Mary Jane Stewart of Elkville, and John Tripp of Du Quoin, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son - Thomas Hunt, Jr., five brothers - Earl Tripp, Glenn Tripp, Allen Eugene Tripp, Paul Tripp, and James Tripp, and two sisters - Margie Halstead and Irene Smith.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Bro. Jerry Aken and Bro. Gary Pruitt officiating.

Friends may call from 11 A.M. until the time of service on Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Hallidayboro Cemetery at Hallidayboro.
