Everett G. Pyron

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[ Everett G. Pyron, 94, of Du Quoin, passed away at 6:10 a.m., Sunday, May 24, 2009 at the Fairview Nursing Center in Du Quoin.

Everett had worked as a grader operator for Consolidated Coal Company. He was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Pinckneyville. He was a member of Gideons, UMW of A, and Full Gospel Businessmen International.

He was born October 9, 1914 at Ava, the son of Don E. and Mary E. (Sherman) Pyron.

He married Virginia Ruth Kessel on December 22, 1938 at Perryville, Mo., and she preceded him in death on January 31, 1998.

He is survived by three sons - Gerald Pyron and wife Colleen of Benton, Gary Pyron and wife Donna of Du Quoin, and Raymond Pyron and wife Janet of Du Quoin, three daughters - Shelba Sullivan and husband John of Pinckneyville, Linda Ritter and husband Paul of Pinckneyville, and Melody Morgan and husband Tom of Benton, two sisters - Gettie Weatherford of Pinckneyville and Emogene Wisely of Vergennes, seventeen grandchildren, forty-seven great grandchildren, and twenty-two great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters - Ferne Williams and Wanda Seyferth and one granddaughter - Chandra Ritter.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the Trinity Assembly of God Church in Pinckneyville with Rev. Paul Ritter officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin and from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Thursday.

Burial will be in the Murdale Gardens of Memory at Murphysboro.

Friends may make memorials to the Trinity Assembly of God Church or donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
